We experienced an unfortunate accident while visiting a friend in Delancy for the weekend. My pup suffered from severe heat exhaustion and couldn't breathe. My friend recommended this doctor and I can see why. I ran in carrying my 80lb dog and the staff took her out of my hands and jumped into action. I really wasn't sure if she was going to make it. The staff stayed after hours treating her as if she was their own pet. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff and to top it off the bill was half of what I expected. They are certainly in it for their love for animals and not for the money. If I didn't live 2 hours away this would be my primary vet!
Dr. Van Buskirk is not only incredibly knowledgeable, she has a deft clinical touch and was able to quickly gain the trust of my cagey, protective German shepherd. I also appreciated that she does not push expensive and unnecessary pet "wellness" programs or excessive meds, and is very thoughtful about treatment plans and diagnostics. Extra kudos to the friendly and competent staff, from appointments to handling my animals, this clinic had been an absolute pleasure to work with.
