Instead, I found someone else who was prompt, efficient, inexpensive, and most importantly completed the job within 2 days.
Terrible. The first time I hired him, he was very bad at getting back to me and it took us 3 weeks before he finally got around to me. I figured it was a fluke, and he seemed nice enough in person.
Here comes the kicker though, he told me that he guaranteed there would be no leaks or problems and if there were he would cover all costs for repairs. Unfortunately this july he opened the house for me, turned on all the water, etc but didn't stick around to see if there were any problems. Now i'm stuck with over 20K in damages and he won't return any of my calls.
As a result, I delayed house work that needed to be completed before the winter freeze, nearly finding myself in a state of emergency.
The second time I needed work done, I tried making appointments 3 times. Each one was blown off without any calls to notify me, I was told false promises repeatedly, and given a bunch of lip service about how much my business means to him. After he blew me off the third time, I simply never heard from him again.
Stay far away from this contractor. I called him to winterize my house and it all went smoothly but he underestimated all the costs and it wound up costing 1.5x the price.
I plan on taking him to court ...
